The Embassy issues visas to foreign nationals wishing to visit the Philippines. 

Former Filipinos and their immediate family members can avail of the Balikbayan visa-free privilege and stay in the Philippines for up to one (1) year without a visa. Click here for more information on Balikbayan visa-free Privilege.

How to Apply for a Non-Immigrant Visa:

  1. You can apply for a visa (Manual Visa Application) at the Embassy . Click this link to make an appointment.
  2. You can apply for a visa(Manual Visa Application) at the Honorary Consulate in Amstelveen
  3. You can apply for a visa via the Philippine e-Visa System. You may visit https://evisa.gov.ph/ for more information and submit an application.

Manual Visa Application (Personal Application)

Processing Period at the Embassy:  

  • 7-12 working days for single entry
  • 15-21 working days for multiple entries.

For clients who will apply at the Honorary Consulate in Amstelveen:

  • You can apply for your visa at the Consulate in Amstelveen, through Mr Joost Horlings (email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., tel: 020 714 7100, and address: Gondel 1, 1186MJ Amstelveen).
  • He will explain the steps to you, make an appointment, and send you the necessary documents. At the appointment, your visa will be ready within 30 minutes.

  • VISUM 59 dagen (Persoonlijke aanvraag in het Nederlands of Engels).

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

  1. Personal Appearance of the applicant.
  2. Duly accomplished and signed Visa Application Form
  3. Original and photocopy of passport data page with at least six (6) months validity after the date of departure from the Philippines
  4. One (1) passport-size photo (size 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm) with white background
  5. Valid Residence Card (for Non-Dutch Citizens)
  6. Proof of round-trip reservation showing dates of entry into and departure from the Philippines (DO NOT book your ticket yet)
  7. Proof of financial resources for travel expenses, accommodation and subsistence, any of the following:
    • Printed bank statements for the three (3) consecutive months preceding the date of visa application;
    • Pay slip certified by the employer or certification of employment stating the applicant’s employment and monthly income (if applicable);
  8. Proof of hotel / accommodation booking reservation covering the intended period of stay in the Philippines

[For business visitors]

  1. For Business Owners
    • Items 1 to 8
    • Invitation letter from a Philippine government or private entity or endorsement from a chamber of commerce (recognized by host government) in the country where the business is located
  2. For Employees
    • Items 1 to 7
    • Endorsement letter from the applicant’s company
    • Invitation letter from a Philippine government/private entity
    • Employment Certificate with remuneration or letter of guarantee from the company/sponsor

[For Chinese nationals]

  • Items 1 to 8

[For internship, volunteer mission or study exchange program]

  • Items 1 to 8
  • Letter or notice of acceptance in the program issued by a Philippine organization / university / company

[For multiple-entry visa]

  • Items 1 to 8
  • Proof of travel history or frequent travel to the Philippines i.e., Philippine immigration stamps, previously issued PH visas, business contracts or invitation to conferences  in the  Philippines.

e-Visa Application

The Philippine e-Visa system is a convenient, accessible, and user-friendly interface for foreign nationals who wish to apply and secure a Philippine e-Visa, which will no longer be affixed to their passports. Foreign nationals can apply for an e-Visa remotely through their personal computers, laptops, and mobile devices.

Processing Period:  

  • 7-12 working days for single entry
  • 15-21 working days for multiple entries.

NOTE: The e-Visa is not valid for conversion to other types of Philippine visa and is not valid for extension of the authorized period of stay.
